Problem:
You get a Decimal Data Error from program RS005R when splitting a report. This may work for one user, but not another user, even when the users have the same authority.
Solution:
Run the EDTLIBL command and make sure QTEMP is the first library in the library list.
As a general rule, QTEMP should always be the first library in your library list.
When QTEMP is not at the top of the library list, iSeries Report Splitter tries to process the empty RSPPAGE00 work file from library RJSSPLIT instead of the one that gets created in QTEMP by the splitting process.
This causes a decimal data error when the splitter program RS005R tries to read an empty work file.
