Cisco ASA Flows Data Labeled NSREL and Can't Be Filtered On

 

Problem

Updated Intermapper Flows to 5.9. Cisco ASA flows data is labeled NSREL, and can't be filtered on.

Solution

You need to refresh the flows exporter. To do this:

1. Open the Flows Settings window.
2. Delete the existing Flows exporter.

When new flows data is received from the exporter, the exporter is re-added. No data is lost, but the data is now labeled Netflow 9 in the Exporters tab. You can filter on it, and see data only from that exporter.
