Using Request Events in QMessage Monitor

 

Create the Event

First, create a request event as defined in the screen below, minimum requirements are name, description, and frequency:

Create an Auto-Reply

Next, create an auto-reply record associated with the event as below for message ID CPF1241 (standard job completion message):

Select the Escalation tab and select the event from the drop-down list:

Select the External Selection tab and enter the job name:

CL Program

Finally, add the following code in the CL program that submits the job:
