Notifiers and Intermapper Device States

 

You can select device notifier states to control when notifications are sent for device state change.

There are two sets of Intermapper map device states:

• Up/Down
• OK/warning/alarm/critical

Up notifications are received when a device was previously down. OK notifications are received when a device was previously in one of the other non-ok states (warning/alarm/critical). Notifications are not received when a device was marked Down, but came back up. State transitions and notifier launch can be seen in the Event Log in Intermapper.
