Problem:
Shortly after issuing LODRUN the installation fails.
Error in joblog contains: CPF9898 'THE INSTALLATION HAS DETECTED THAT THIS JOB IS USING AN UNSUPPORTED CCSID(65535). THE INSTALLATION WILL NOW END.'
The user profile doing the installation specified a CCSID of *SYSVAL and the system value QCCSID was set to 65535.
Solution:
Change the profile used to install Showcase to specify CCSID(37) then sign on to a new session and complete the installation.
NOTE: It should also be possible to sign on to a new session and issue CHGJOB CCSID(37) then proceed with the installation rather than changing the profile.
