Problem:
One user on a multi-user Windows 7 machine was having issues with the ActiveX download feature not working with WebDocs ISeries and IE8. The control did not get downloaded and was no longer prompting to be downloaded.
Solution:
Reset the user's IE settings to default and make sure that Protected Mode is unchecked for the all zones (Internet, Local intranet, and Trusted sites.) Protected Mode seems to interfere with the plugin working.
