Problem:
With Kofax VRS 4.0 driver, you want the Kofax VRS scanner driver to stop scanning when the scanner runs out of paper, instead of displaying an "out of paper" message.
Solution:
To set the Kofax VRS scanner driver to stop scanning when the scanner runs out of paper:
- Start the Virtual Rescan Administration Utility by running:
C:\Program Files\Kofax\ImgCtls\Bin\ErrorCfg.exe
- In the Errors tab, in Out of Paper, choose Return Error.
- Click Save.
Now when the scanner runs out of paper, the scanning process stops without displaying the "Out of Paper" message from the Kofax VRS Twain Driver.
