As of V1.83 of the WebDocs iSeries Edition Software, there is a new set of MS Office Addins for Excel, Word and Outlook available to streamline check-in and check-out of MS Word or Excel documents from within MS Word or Excel as well as email from MS Outlook.
This requires the RJSIMAGE library V1.83 or above to be loaded.

After Installing the New WebDocs iSeries Library the following iSeries Setting must be changed.
CHGDTAARA DTAARA(RJSIMAGE/DOCSESLIST) VALUE(*SESSION)
Instructions for use:
After installing the addins, MS Word, Excel and Outlook will have a new menu available called WebDocs iSeries.
Note: MS Outlook will only have the "New Doc Save As/Send to WebDocs" option.
On the WebDocs iSeries menu are the following options:
New Document - Create new document. Same as File/New option.
Open/Checkout Document - This option opens a WebDocs search dialog to search for a document. After a document is located, double click the list to open the document.
Close Document - This option closes the local copy of a word document without checking out or checking in.
Save Changes/CheckIn Document - This option is used to check-in a document that was check-ed out for changes.
New Doc Save As/Send To WebDocs - This option is used to save a newly created document into WebDocs and assign it a new document ID.
WebDocs Login - This option is used to log in to WebDocs.
View Log - If the log option was enabled on the login dialog, the view log option can be used to view a log list of WebDocs URL's for troubleshooting purposes. (The View Log Option is Currently Not Functioning)
In case the WebDocs iSeries menu does not show up in MS Word, Excel or Outlook after installing the addins, do the following:
Select Start/Run and type the following to register the Word Addin
Select Start/Run and type the following to register the Excel Addin
Select Start/Run and type the following to register the Outlook Addin
