Problem

Customer installed something onto the Server PC (in this case, they installed the HP Web JetAdmin).  Since that point, the Print Server errors on every report with an error code -2147352567.   The exact error that was received was:

After this, the customer could not launch either the FormDocs Filler or the FormDocs Designer.  The application would start to show the splash screen and then close.

The Event Viewer contained a logged error message that eventually lead us to the solution (Error may be different...):

Solution

After several attempts to reinstall applications we found that "MGXLUI_F.DLL" mentioned in the Event Viewer was a component of a Minolta Printer.  It turns out that the HP JetAdmin had corrupted (or maybe even overwritten) this file and the driver was now corrupted.  the customer had the corrupt printer assigned as the default printer.

Try changing the default printer.  If it is corrupt, you may not always receive an error message.
