Receiving an RA31107 Error when Adding a New Vendor

 

You just tried to add a new vendor in Robot Alert and received an "RA31107, SMTP Host Address is not Valid" error. This error usually occurs when the IP address or host name is not enrolled in TCP/IP Host Table Entries on the IBM i.

To correct this:

1. Enter the command CFGTCP on a command line.
2. Select option 10, Work with TCP/IP host table entries.
3. Add the host if it's not listed.
