There are several options for changing dates in Performance Navigator:

Change the dates of the current graph shown in the main window

  1. Right-click on any date and choose Start Graph Here or End Graph Here.
  2. Use the zoom in and zoom out buttons in the toolbar.
  3. Use the small black triangles at the top of the graph. Dragging them zooms in and out of the graph.
  4. Drag the right and left sides of the x-axis to move the x-axis (dates).

If you do not want to ever see data BEFORE a certain date

  1. Go to Edit \ System Options \ Dates.
  2. Change the Data Cutoff Date at the bottom of the window.

We usually recommend that this is set to a date in the distant past so you can see all historical data, but some customers really don't want to see data from before a certain date.

To change dates for Average Day graphs or for What-If

  1. Go to Edit \ System Options \ Dates.
  2. Change the dates in the Average Day & What If Date Range box.

    • You can check the box to use the default, and it will use the past 4 weeks.
    • You can choose to not include certain days of the week (like weekends) for Average Day graphs with the check boxes under Trend Days and Average Days.

To change dates for Peak Day graphs

  1. Go to Edit \ System Options \ Dates.
  2. Change the dates in the Peak Day & Service Level Constraints box.

    • You can check the box to use the default, and it will use the past 4 weeks.
    • You can also choose whether or not to focus on specific hours of the day here.

To change Before and After Dates:

  1. Go to Edit \ System Options \ Dates, and click on the Before vs After Dates tab.
  2. Go to Power Analytics \ Before vs After Analysis \ Set Before vs After Dates...
  3. Right-click on a date in a graph and choose Set _date_ to > Before Date or After Date.
