Database Name Component of Object Qualifier Must be Name of Current Database

 

Problem Statement:

[ODBC SQL server driver][SQL server] Database name component of object qualifier must be name of current database. Error when trying to create a query.

Solution:

Remove any special characters such as ' - ' from the Database name.

EXAMPLE: If the Database name is ATS-PVN, change the database name to ATSPVN.
