Changing the Default "From" Address in Robot Alert

 

Robot Alert creates its default “From” address in the format Robot.Alert@domainname, where domainname is the domain name that was entered for option 12, Change TCP/IP Domain Information, in the Configure TCP/IP (CFGTCP) command. To change the default From address:

1. First, determine which vendor name Robot Alert is using.

2. Then, enter the following commands from a command prompt:

   ADDLIBLE RBTALRLIB

   CALL RBA915

3. Press F6, Add Record.

4. Enter the Vendor Name and the From address you want used with that vendor. For example:
   joe.user@company_email.com
