Online Monitor
The following example shows a bar created to monitor the amount of CPU used by a particular user.
Element definition
This is achieved by creating a CPU Usage monitor. If one does not exist, click the large Add button to create one.
The exact parameters required depend upon the requirements, but the following example shows a monitor collecting data on one system, for a specific user YOUNGD.
Note that the Client Access jobs run under user QUSER, hence the fact that there are two user entry fields.
History
The Short Term history view (double-click the element) can then be used to graphically show the usage over a few hours.
After the definition has been created, then longer term history will be available via the Detailed History and History Summary modules.
