Enable JDK 8 for Showcase Server [Video]

 

Make the changes below to enable JDK 8 for Showcase server.

Steps

You will need to add 1 entry within the showcase.cfg file (located at: /SCSERVER/PRODDATA/CONFIG), and then recycle the ShowCase Server. Note: Replace <scserver> with the name of your Showcase server library name.

ENTRY to Add:

NOTE: for JDK 8, change to jdk80

showcasecorp.scserver.jvm.path=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk80/64bit
