Problem:

When checking in a document scanned with Imaging Scan Workstation on a Windows PC, you get:
 
Error 53 - File Not Found
 
If you log in as the administrator, no error occurs. 
 

Solution:

  1. Make sure that Imaging Scan Workstation is not running. 
  2. Give all users read and write access to the directory C:\Programs Files (x86)\HelpSystems\RJSIMGSCAN.
  3. Edit the RJSIMGSCAN.INI file in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\RJS Software\Scan Workstation  to add the following entries if missing:

    tempimagefile=C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\RJS Software\Scan Workstation\RJSTEMPIMAGE.TIF
    tempimagefilepdf=C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\RJS Software\Scan Workstation\RJSTEMPIMAGE.PDF
    tempocroutputfile=C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\RJS Software\Scan Workstation\RJSTEMPOCR.TXT

    Note: Where you see username in this step, replace username with the username of the user that has Scan Workstation installed on the pc and will be using Scan Workstation.
