If tqupdate fails to update a node, some files can remain and must be cleaned up to allow tqupdate to update the node again. Starting with the 11.2 2015 October release, tqupdate includes a hidden -r option, that cleans up the update.data for you. To use the hidden -r option, run following command:
manager/bin/tqupdate -r
This works for both Microsoft Windows and Linux systems, and cleans up the remaining files from update.data.
NOTE: If the update runs and starts the update files but the install does not finish correctly, manual intervention is required, with the steps varying depending on what the issue is.
