Changing the TeamQuest Manager Data Directory

 

Before You Begin

The following steps only apply to the TeamQuest Manager data directories. If you have TeamQuest Administration Console and Vityl Monitor installed and they share the same data directory as your TeamQuest Manager installation, changing the data directory can make these products unusable.

Steps

1. Shut down TeamQuest Manager using the following command:
   
   teamquest\manager\bin\tqmgr -shutdown
   
   
2. Edit the tq.ini file in the /manager/etc directory.

This file should have an entry similar to the following:

Data Directory=/opt/teamquest/data

3. Change the data directory location as needed.
4. Update your Apache configuration files using the following command:

 manager/bin/tqmgr -init

The data directory is moved.
