Problem

The REGSVR32.EXE file is missing when installing VB 5 run-time files.

Solution

The current VB 5 run-time file installation program doesn't include the REGSVR32.EXE program needed to register OCX controls. If the user has REGSVR32.EXE somewhere on their PC, they can simply copy the file into the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory or the C:WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.

If the user doesn't have a copy of the REGSVR32.EXE file, they can contact RJS Software, and we can provide it for them. REGSVR32.EXE is also included with the WinSpool/400 95/NT installation program, so installing WinSpool/400 95/NT is another way to make sure the REGSVR32.EXE program gets installed.

REGSVR32.EXE is only needed when installing the WinSpool/400 products. After installation the file is not used.
