Problem:

The Windows NFS server is set up, but documents still do not write to the NFS server.

Solution:

There is a quota restriction on the Windows server for disk usage. This typically occurs with servers that have Active Directory installed, but may occur in other situations as well.

  1. On the Windows server, go to My Computer.
  2. Highlight the disk drive letter of the RJSIMAGEDOCNFS folder and right-click the drive letter.
  3. Choose the Quota tab.
  4. Click Quota Entries.
  5. If any entries are red, double-click the entry and choose Do not limit disk usage
  6. Return to the iSeries and run the DOCUNMOUNT and DOCMOUNT commands to re-mount the NFS share.
