Entering Permanent License Codes for the CCSS Products

 

Instructions for QMessage Monitor and QRemote Control

Follow these steps to enter permanent license codes for QMessage Monitor or QRemote Control.

1. From an IBM i command line, add the library, MM, if it's not already in your library list. Then, enter the command GO QMM. The following panel displays:

   

2. From the QMM menu, select option 1, Maintain Systems and Queues. The following panel displays. Enter a 1 by the system for which you have a code.

   

3. From the following panel, press either F10 for a QMM Expiry Code or F22 for a QRC Expiry Code.

   

4. Next, press F11.

   

5. Paste the new license code and press Enter to review the License Terms and Conditions.

   

Instructions for QSystem Monitor

Follow these steps to enter a permanent license code for QSystem Monitor.

1. From an IBM i command line, add the library, MSM, if it's not already in your library list. Then, enter the command GO MSM. The following panel displays:

   

2. From the MSM menu, select option 1, Monitor Configuration. The following panel displays. Enter a 2 by the system for which you have a code.

   

3. From the following panel, press F10 for a QSM Expiry Code.

   

4. Next, press F11.

   

5. Paste the new license code and press Enter to review the License Terms and Conditions.
