DBEXPXLS command fails when submitted to run in batch mode if job queue is not QBATCH

 

When the DBEXPXLS command (in RJSEXPORT version  1.31, OS/400 V5R3) is run interactively or submitted to job queue QBATCH it works fine. If the same exact command call is submitted to another job queue,  the conversion fails.  

 

Testing with multithread = *NO and *YES both failed consistently when sent to another job queue.

 

The following java log is created in /RJSTEMP.  This error happens when creating the Excel output file. 

 

qsh: 001-0012 Error found starting child process. System resources not available to complete request.

 

Could not recreate the issue. Circumstantial evidence seems to indicate a subsystem resource availability problem that was causing problems with the Java resource requests.
