Kill process started by Skybot in AIX KSH, the Skybot will not be terminated.

Skybot job staying in Running status when the process is killed manually on the AIX system. Customers should be ending jobs launched by Skybot through the Skybot interface. Using the Kill command is essentially circumventing Skybot and should be avoided. If the customer must kill the process, be sure to kill all processes related to the Skybot job.
