We utalize Roles to allow power users the ability to see their jobs in view mode and sometimes in Execute mode. Because of this, we have several job dependent roles. As in any organization, jobs cross over, so in one office a person needs role A, and in another office a person needs role A and role B. with the current limits, we have to create a third role C that now requires us to when changes are made to A, now we modify A and C. This seems like it should not be a huge enhancement, and would make administration much simpler.
