When attempting to add user to User group, Option 8 'Work with Members'.


Cannot find a particular User ID that exists on the system. Does not appear in list ??

Hi Adam! This usually happens when the Central Admin component has not been started.

Try this:

  2. Wait about five minutes
  3. Check again if the user profile is available in the Work with Members screen


It's also a good idea to include this in the system start-up program, à la:

/**** Start of section "Central Administration start-up"    ****/



/**** End of section "Starting Central Administration"      ****/

Although when I attempt to start program, I get the message 'Monitor jobs are already running'
