Q. I have a situation where I need to send out email notifications that include a custom message based on a few different SNMP variables. However in the edit message dialog I'm only limited to the variables listed such as event, device name, etc... I'm wondering if it is possible to customize this list?
A. The list is not customizable; however, you can include the values of SNMP variables when constructing the condition text in the probe to be reported in the status window or notifier. The condition text ("Device Condition") is one of the items you can include in your email message.
