Q: When I do a status screen on an interface and not a device, is it using the SNMP defined in the probe(s) or from the server settings or none of the above?
A: The default version of SNMP used by your probes is the one set in Server Settings > SNMP.
The only time a probe will come up showing v2c if your default is v1 is if there is a flag set in the probe “version=v2c” .
