IM Auth and automatic login of *.*.*.*

Q. If I create a user account with an automatic login of *.*.*.*, will the user first be authenticated via IM Auth?

A. No. InterMapper always checks the Access Control List first before using IM Auth, so an auto-login of *.*.*.* would be logged on without authenticating the user via IM Auth.
