Error initializing SSL/TLS - IMAuth and Active Directory

Q. When attempting to test a connection to Active Directory using IMAUTH, I get the following error:

• LdapErr: DSID-XXXXXXXX, comment: Error initializing SSL/TLS, data 0, vece

A. In order for ActiveDirectory to accept SSL connections from IMAuth, the Microsoft Enterprise Certificate Authority must be present on your domain. It is usually installed on the domain controller.
