Unable to send test email via IMDC

Q. Why can't InterMapper DataCenter send a test email notification?

A. If InterMapper DataCenter says that the mail server closed the connection unexpectedly, it means that the server isn't accepting emails, due to some issue with the IP address of the sender (IMDC) or the address of the recipient.
