Q. One of my maps was corrupted during a hardware failure, and I don't have a backup. Is there any possibility of recovering the map?
A. If you have previously upgraded InterMapper from one version to another, there will be a saved copy of each map in the InterMapper Settings -> Maps (Backups) folder on the server. The map file will be named with the version of InterMapper that saved the map during the upgrade process. You can re-import the map from the backup file using the File -> Import -> Map command.
Note: You can backup and restore maps from the File -> Backup and File -> Restore commands. It is a good idea to backup your maps from time to time, as well as backing up the entire InterMapper Settings folder in order to do a full restore of the application and all of its settings.
