Is there a way to configure a rule that alerts me if a previous alert isn't acknowledged by someone else on my team?
Use an escalation list (Main menu | Option 21 | Option 23). Escalation lists will automatically move to the next user on the list, after the designated time interval, if the alert has not been acknowledged.

Can this only be done on the iSeries.?
Yes, escalation procedures only run on the iSeries, however the acknowledgement of an alert, that has an escalation running behind it, can be done either on the iSeries or the EntCon.
