Getting value from a merge cell in excel

Hi,

I am using the OpenDocument action to read data from an excel file. These data will be transferred to a dataset for easy processing. The issue I have right now is some data in excel have some merge cells. These data are not copied into the dataset. Is there a way to unmerge a group of cell? Or what could be another approach?

Hi Kris,

We were not able to replicate this.  When using the Get Cell(s) action it will pull the information from merged cells and associate it with the first cell, upper left most cell, in the merge.  So if for example A2 and A3 are merged, then the data would show up as the value of A2.  If extracting a dataset, the other cells of the merge will be empty.
