Automate Enterprise version 11.0.6

>>>>>>>>>

Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to assign a user to a User Group only once they login to the Automate Console. My reasoning behind this is because at this time, due to security restrictions each user in automate must have separate individual logins to logon to different networks. This is resulting in anyone accessing the system could have 3 or 4 or more different accounts. It's a pain to manage, so I'm trying to simplify the process by consolidating each individuals user accounts into one and assigning the appropriate permissions based on the login itself. Between the username they used and the server in which they are accessing the console from I would know what group to assign.

I just can't seem to find the best way to try and go about this. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Dave

Hello David,

Unfortunately this is a manual process that would require you to select, input, and possibly configure, the users into user groups. We can, however, submit a feature request for this type of functionality for implementation into a future build.

We will update this thread with a feature request number.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

thanks.
