Is there any functionality in Automate to loop thru a folder of Word documents and retrieve meta-data about page size and page orientation?  Our ERP creates Word documents that normally default to 8.5 x 11, but sometimes assigns seemingly random sizes and/or landscape orientation.  Until we figure out how to stop this behavior, would like to spot it after the fact.

Using Automate 10 version 10.7.0.3, Microsoft Word 97 - 2003.

Hello Dennis,

Unfortunately there is no option to gather the dimensions for a file. It is best to integrate the process of setting the appropriate size within the loop that you have created. This would have to done interactively using interactive actions. Here are links that explain how to set the dimensions manually:

Thank you Alex.  The ERP that creates our Word documents is maintained by a vendor (outside of Automate 10).  Normally the dimensions for the Word documents are default values based on the user's printer as assigned by Windows, as far as we can tell.  We are asking our vendor for a fix.  But there are some bad documents out there and i don't know how to spot them without opening each one and looking.  Thank you for responding.
