We are planning for the forthcoming change by Microsoft

Basic Authentication Retirement - Updated Info

MC204828, Plan For Change, Published date: 26 Feb 2020

We have switched on Modern Authentication in Office 365 and now Automate tasks that use EWS no longer work.

Are Automate aware of this change and the severe impact it could have?

IMAP and POP are still options but this doesn't work for email triggers.

Any help appreciated

Hello Geoff,

We are aware of the situation and are working to implement the Modern Authentication method into the software. For the time being however, the only option is to disable Modern Authentication until the functionality is there.

Asking the same, especially since Basic Authentication is being disabled very soon.

My mail tasks stopped working yesterday due to the Microsoft change. We need Help Systems assistance. I opened a ticket today but was wondering if someone out here has figured this out?

What was the resolution for this?

EWS is going away in a few years and curious if things have been setup yet.
