We starting experiencing this same error after upgrading from 11.4 to 11.7.1.6.  It has occurred 4 times for us, usually 7-10 days apart and interestingly always occurs around 11:50pm, just like yours...

We are also experiencing this now. It happened a few times, and a reboot fixed it, but now on the 17th,18th,19, and 20th Jan '23 it happened between 23:50 and 23:55. From then no more tasks fire and we have to reboot. Version was the latest version of Automate 11, and now with Automate 2022 as well since the 19th.

Hello,

Please open a case with the Automate support team so we can look into this issue further.

Thanks,

Amy

Greetings Amy,

I opened case CAS-0010342135 on 12/13 which is still being actively investigated if you would like to compare notes.

We have logged a total of 8 crashes since upgrading to 11.7.1.6 and they have all occurred around the 23:50 timeframe.  Nightly reboots do not seem to mitigate the issue and they have occurred anywhere from 1 to 10 days apart.

Perhaps if we found some commonality between our installations we might find the cause and resolution for this issue.  If there is any other information I can provide that might be helpful, please let me know how I can help.

Adding, as this has happened to us as well.

One note, the first time I ran into this .. after restarting the service.  Automate actually lost our entire config.  ( We had to restore from backup ).
Never had issues after restrating the server.  But shouldn't have to.

Same problem here, also crashes at the same timewindow.
I am now restarting the service nightly using the Windows task scheduler, but would be nice if this issue would be solved

Following up on this, after upgrading our server from Windows 2016 to Windows 2022 and upgrading Automate from 11.7.1 to 22.1.1.16, the issue has unfortunately not been resolved and we continue to experience the service crash around the 11:50 pm timeframe with the error message below.

clsTaskServiceWrapper thread has thrown an unhandled exception: Access violation at address 000000000059AF1B in module 'AMTS.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

We have the same problem.

Computer is virtual under VMware. Do you use virtual or real machines?
Has anybody tried an automatic restart of Automate service?
